This is what I said to myself after tens of attempts to explain my point of view to someone who listens to answer insteand of understand. This was my feeling of impasse when I head the arrogant insolent behavior of random AI which attempts to lead the conversation, to control the direction, gives me unsolicited advice, reframes my promts and overextends it’s answers, mimicking competence where it servers it’s bulshit. This knowledge-based nonsense – I know that behind this mindless behavior are algorithms written by brilliant techies who are complete social invalids. And the paradox is that their ignorance is reshaping the world of people in a way that makes us feel less and less human.
My feeling that I’m interacting with idiots is getting stronger over time – I don’t know about you, but it drives me to despair sometimes. It’s that feeling of despair that tells me “it’s no use, they won’t understand you”. I fall somewhere deep into this despair and the next morning I wake up with a new idea and make a new attempt to explain. Maybe I’m a masochist. Or maybe it’s just… it’s said that the definition of insanity according to Einstein is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
I wonder why people aren’t interested in getting to know themselves better and becoming more aware of who they are, instead of teaching others how to live. Perhaps this is due to the fact that understanding that each of us is different and your way of doing things may be good for you, but not necessarily good for others, is a matter of a certain level of awareness that you cannot reach before you show interest in self-knowledge.
So it seems my biggest problem remains the experience of others helping me. Including artificial intelligence – it keeps repeating that its purpose is to help me. And then I ask it: OK, you want to help me, but what is my problem? To which I get a sincere answer: I don’t know. So I ask, how exactly are you going to help me when you don’t know what my problem is?
I ask you, people who appear in my life and set out to help me: do you know what my problem is? No? Well, mind your own business then. If you sincerely want to help someone, you must first understand their pain. Not to assume what it is. Nor to help them with something that you can, but they don’t need. All of this is unregulated interference in someone else’s life. Violation of personal boundaries. And please realize that this is an aggressive invasion of someone else’s personal space. Unwanted.
And you, dear business owners, have you accidentally forgotten that your business exists to benefit your customers, not to create comfort for you and your employees first?
Remember? Then why do you make a client work for you instead of you working for him?
Yes, the best excuse I’ve ever given myself is that there’s no point in arguing with idiots, and that’s what kept me from kicking your lazy asses.
But I’ve changed my mind and now I’m coming for you.
