Fake enthusiasm should be outlawed! Because it’s harmful to people who are stuck.

I think creative block is as old as humanity and everyone knows how it feels inside, but as far as I know, no one has created a universal “pill” for how to reconnect with the flow through intention.

And then these fake, over-excited people come along with their AI-generated copy and tell me that there’s something wrong with me if I’m not making a lot of money right now, like them, and grinning like a turnip all the time.

The problem with this fake enthusiasm is that it doesn’t even touch the soul like real sincerity does. That feeling of purity that only open vulnerability can give me as an experience.

And me being there, in my melancholy, is just a prelude to entering the creative flow.

So no, I don’t want to be saved from my perceived sadness. I want to continue to immerse myself fully in it, because beyond that lies an experience that you, the fake one, have probably never had.

And being humble in this state is the bravest thing I can do.
